  • It turns out that Isobel and Alun didn't get married while they were away, and don't know how to tell everyone. Greg has bought Sam a house in Auchtarn. Everyone in the village now seems to be against Mrs Mack, as she went too far with the petition.

  • Mrs Mack is going to a lot of trouble to look after Mr McPherson as his health is getting worse. Carol isn't impressed with the dress her mother has made her. Mrs Mack seems to be crumbling and is questioning whether her husband ever liked her.

  • Isobel still hasn't managed to tell anyone that they aren't married. Mr Murdoch asks the minister to keep an eye on Mrs Mack, as he is worried about her. Mr Sneddon is humiliated by Sam, and he isn't impressed. Carol meets TJs mother.

  • Its the night of Tee Jay's stag do and Carol's hen night. Mrs Mack is becoming more erractic and throwing people out of the Manse.

  • The Stag and Hen dos are in full swing. Fiona goes to the Manse to check on Mrs Mack but finds her unconsious. It's the morning of the wedding and Tee Jay is worried about something.

  • Carol and TJ are married. Mrs Mack is recovering from exhaustion in hospital, but is worried that the minister isn't being looked after while she is away. Carols mother and TJs mother aren't getting along, but then reconcile at the wedding.

  • Florence visits Mrs Mack in hospital which cheers her up. A lot of people in the village are feeling bad about Mrs Mack having had so much work to do. Carol and TJ are bored on their first day of married life.

  • The new minister is uncomfortable with the thought of putting Mr McPherson into a care home because of what it might do to Mrs Mack, but he wants to go. Effie hints to Kenny that he should propose to Emma, but it makes him very uncomfortable.

  • Emma makes fun of Eric and Joanna still showing their love even though they've been married for so long. Florence and Michael spend the day looking for homes for Mr MacPherson but Michael feels bad about this and Emma doubts her feelings for Kenny.

  • One of Erics old school friends visits him. Mr McPherson visits a prospective care home. Kenny seems to be a very good photographer, as the pictures he took of the wedding came out lovely. Fiona is convinced that Greg and Sam have a history together.

  • Eric and Joanna are actively trying for a baby. Eric's friend wants to borrow his boat, so he can take the woman he is having an affair with on a trip. Mr McPherson leaves for the care home today and everyone comes to say goodbye.

  • Mrs Mack leaves hospital. Fiona is concerned that Greg is spoiling David. Mrs Mack meets Carol outside the hospital and is very nice to her. Paul isn't happy about Sheila inviting Carol and TJ round for dinner.

  • Fiona isn't happy about Greg taking David on every business trip with him. Mrs Mack is convinced that Mr McPherson will be back living at the manse soon, but after a visit to the care home, Mr McPherson assures her he will be staying.

  • While clearing up a mess on a boat, Eric pricks his finger on a used needle and is frantic with worry. Susan is uncomfortable with Fiona and Greg spending so much money on David, while she cannot afford much for Jamie.

  • Susan tells Fiona that Davids behaviour is getting quite bad. Eric goes to hospital for an HIV test without telling Joanna. She thinks that Eric doesn't love her anymore. Mrs Mack makes her peace with Mr McPherson being in the care home.

  • Eric tells Joanna bout what he is going through, and they arrange a day out together to get away. Jamie is having a birthday party, Kenny is the photographer and Alun is playing playing the clown as the one Susan hired is late.

  • Fiona and Greg disagree on how to discipline David. Isobel feels that Alun is making too many changes in the house. Trish has a crush on her biology teacher. Eric is being very short with everyone around him as he is terrified of infection.

  • Fergus seems to be in a bad mood and is being rather off with everyone. Trish is trying to impress her teacher and is starting to dress more grown-up. Brian sends Isobel a letter telling her he is happy for her and Alun.

  • Eric shouts at Effie, and is still losing his temper with everyone. Isobel is finding it hard to adjust to the changes Alun is making in the house. Fergus tells Isobel he is retiring. Trish's teacher asks her and her friend to babysit his child.

  • Fergus is upset about having to retire. Kenny wins first prize in a photography competition. Eric finds out that the woman his friend was with on the boat is ill, and she was the one injecting drugs.

  • Alun doesn't seem to be happy living in the house Isobel shared with Brian. Eric hasn't been feeling very well and is worried. Dougal can't afford to pay his poll tax. Mrs Mack is keeping herself busy by looking after the young minister.

  • Joanna confides in Fiona about what's going on. Fergus thinks that everyone is planning him a surprise retirement party. Trish is acting much older and everyone is noticing. Kenny is having a leaving party before he leaves.

  • Trish is letting her homework slip. Eric seems to be getting more ill, so Joanna takes him to the doctor. Dougal is struggling with his money situation. Sam fishes for information about Inverdarroch farm. Morags dad dies, leaving her very upset.
